Wayne Art Center is pleased to present an exhibition of large abstract paintings, works on paper and two-dimensional works by our adult students and WAC community members in Attraction to Abstraction 2024. This exhibition will hang in the Vidinghoff and Radnor Township Lobby Galleries during CraftForms and The CraftForms Companion Show.

The Figure: Portrait & Narrative – A Juried Exhibition

Includes 67 exceptional paintings, drawings, sculptures and photographic works invited to the exhibition by juror Scott Noel from a large, diverse and competitive pool of submissions.

Eternal Recurrence Scott Noel – Large Figure Compositions | 1982-2024

The oil paintings on linen featured in the Davenport Gallery encompass the intersection of Noel’s experience with and passion for the history of art, the vitality of the artist’s studio life, and the rhythm of the playground and its place in Philadelphia culture in work that seeks the theatricality of Baroque paintings, mythology and the allegorical.
